Colonial Iraq: The Reality behind “the End of the Iraq War”
U.S. retains thousands of troops

by Brian Becker

“Our war there will be over. All of our troops will be out of Iraq,” President Barack Obama said in his Dec. 17 weekly radio address.

But while combat troops are leaving, for now at least, the U.S. government is creating a staff of 16,000 for its newly constructed embassy in the heart of Baghdad. Although Iraq has only 28 million people, the new U.S. embassy is the largest in the world. It is a massive compound that is one and a half square miles-—an enormous complex of 22 buildings and the size of 94 football fields. Half of the 16,000-person staff will consist of a private military army made up of mercenaries under the control of the State Department. The State Department budget for the embassy is estimated at $25-30 billion over the next five years.

In addition, the Pentagon retains a vast network of bases, sea and air power surrounding Iraq. Washington’s intention clearly is to dominate Iraq for many years to come in a colonial-type relationship. Iraq possesses the second largest oil reserves in the world.

Obama’s speech was the latest in a series of appearances seeking to bolster the president’s re-election prospects by associating himself with “the end of the war in Iraq.”

The dishonesty of this presentation would be considered breathtaking except for the fact that his deception fits exactly into the pattern of lies and deceit practiced by all other Democrats and Republicans who have served as the CEO of the U.S. imperialist state.

While trying to ingratiate himself with the service members, veterans and their families, Obama vastly underestimated the real damage done to them, stating that “tens of thousands have been wounded.”

The official Pentagon figure of U.S. wounded is around 32,000. But a Brown University 2011 study reported that, of the 1.25 million service members who had been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan at that time, nearly half had filed disability claims—in others words, 600,000, a big majority Iraq veterans. Nor did the president mention that many thousands of returning vets are now homeless, living in the streets—a number that grows daily.

No mention either that the war in Iraq has already cost more than a trillion dollars and will likely end up costing more than $3 trillion in the end due to long-term interest, disability and health cost.

But the most glaring omission was the catastrophic impact of the war on Iraq and its people. “For nearly nine years, our nation has been at war in Iraq,” said Obama. In reality, the war in Iraq has been going on for more than two decades: The 1991 “Desert Storm” destruction of the country’s infrastructure and a lethal 13-year sanctions blockade preceded the 2003 invasion and occupation.

More than two million Iraqis have died as a result of war and sanctions, an estimated 4.5 million have been displaced and an unknown number, but one which must be counted in the millions, wounded. There are over one million widows in Iraq. All this in a country of just 28 million people.

The U.S. occupiers disbanded the entire government and shut down all vital service systems, such as health care and food distribution. The occupation deliberately pitted religious and ethnic groups against each other, using the classic methods of colonial divide-and-rule. This policy greatly exacerbated sectarian violence that took a toll in the hundreds of thousands and continues to plague Iraq today. A once relatively stable society was ripped to shreds.

There is not a single reference in the president’s proclamation about the horrific crimes committed against Iraq. Just colonialist-style statements like, “Iraq’s future will be in the hands of its own people.” As if the U.S. occupation had, instead of inflicting untold destruction, been a training session for the Iraqi people in self-government.

Iraq had been an independent country for 45 years after kicking out the British colonizers in 1958, and was one of the most economically and socially advanced countries in the Arab world prior to the 1991 war.

Despite all that they have suffered, the Iraqi people have a long and proud history of struggle against imperialism and injustice, a struggle that will continue.

  1. Jesus in the Talmud, What is this?
    by Tom Valentine

It is more than a ‘scholarly’ book, published in 2007 by Princeton University press; It is notable for finding factual references to the life of Jesus in caustic Rabbinic texts, and for being a counterbalance to the infamous Talmudic tradition that it’s okay to lie and deceive us ‘goy.’ I review this book as best I can from the position of an aroused and thinking Christian goy.

The cruel canard‘anti-Semitic’ does not apply for many reasons, not the least of which is the simple fact that the slanderous word itself is derived from language games for purposes of propaganda and in real world context has no validity.

Since the‘Semites’ referred to are no such thing and the powerful Talmudists have earned enmity and disrespect through word and deed for 2000 years, as this’scholarly’ book ascertains, I utterly reject the label anti-Semitic, however I proudly wear the tag that I am profoundly anti the‘Conspiracy of Zion.’

With that out of the way, let’s consider this book that is available from Amazon.com where customer reviews are posted. I will not review the reviews. You can check them in a jiffy.

Essentially we learn that there were two original Talmud sources the first in Palestine (The Jerusalem Talmud Schafer says; but typically it was not in Jerusalem where the Pharisees and scribes wrote this stuff in Aramaic, but about 60 miles away in another town probably because the Romans had destroyed Jerusalem a few years before these writings were written.
The‘Babylonian Talmud’ was scribed over a few hundred years duration in Babylonian cities, commencing about a hundred years after the Rabbi sect moved away from emerging Christianity into the‘cradle of civilization’, where they felt more free to attack Jesus.

Schafer accepts many details from the earlier writings over the later because they reflect the culture and times when Jesus Lived and performed his‘magic.’ The scribes adhering to the G-d tradition never wrote the name of the person they ridiculed, So Schafer can only infer they are writing about the Jesus of the New Testament.

In a classic irony, the writings of those who wish to claim Jesus never existed, literally confirm not only his existence but the early dates for writers of the Gospels. Essentially the‘synagogue of Satan’ published validation of their worst enemy his existence and his miracles as they denigrate both.

You cannot read this book quickly, you must invest considerable concentration, after all, it is‘scholarly.’

I have also read‘Judaism Discovered’ by Michael Hoffman, a book I heartily recommend for anyone wanting to try understanding the basis for controversy, wars, and bitter hatreds during the past 2000+ years.

This issue is most important in these times when the 2000-year war is coming to a head.

Some examples from the vile Talmud Mr Valentine (courtesy of Brother Nathanael of RZN – a former Jew, now a baptized Russian Orthodox Christian):

“‘Yashu’ (derogatory for ‘Jesus’) is in Hell being boiled in hot excrement.” (Gittin 57a)[’Yashu’ is an acronym for the Jewish curse, ‘May his (Jesus) name be wiped out forevermore.’]Yashu (Jesus) was sexually immoral and worshipped a brick.” (Sanhedrin 107b)“Yashu (Jesus) was cut off from the Jewish people for his wickedness & refused to repent.” (Sotah 47a) “Christians who reject the Talmud will go to hell & be punished there for all generations.” (Rosh Hashanah 17a)

P.S. Do not confuse Yeshua with Yashu. Yeshua is the Greek name for Jesus and the hebrew word for “salvation”.

Derek, all the vile statements about Christ are in this book, the interesting thing is this particular’s approach and is differences with other ‘scholars.’ I learned many years ago about the Talmud from Elizabeth Dilling and it is only in the past decade or so, with Internet playing a big role that us goy even heard there was such a book. I went thru school, the Navy and more school in the 1950s and heard nary a word. Wonder why that was? It is hard for me to understand responders to these columns who obviously have heard about it assuming that the columnist knows nothing of the alleged names for Jesus. This book spends a lot of time and effort on that very question. Perhaps I should let comments that presume I don’t know such an obvious detail slide.

Tbh I was unaware of this book too until I read about it over the internet. They have tried to keep it hidden. Thanks to some honest ex-Jews we know the truth.

Derek, I just re-read the review and I think the confusion stems from the statement that Schafer had to “infer” when those old rabbin were talking about Jesus. The author’s reasoning for his interpretation of the very old scribbles are what make this book particularly interesting. It is not a quick and easy read, but in this timeless controversy that effects so many millions of people it is worth time, effort and thought.

pss, Derek, I have not been impressed with Bro Nathaniel’s blog stuff at all. A gut feeling, only. for what that is worth.

    October 28, 2011 – 12:33 pm
I can see where you are coming from but he would not lie about whats in that book. He is also one who can translate it properly for us goyim. I must admit it took me a long time to get used to his look (reminds me of a KKK member) but he is an honest man with a heart of gold and nothing on his blog has been disproved. In fact he gets death threats for exposing the truth.

Ever wonder where “kiddie porn” comes from?

Kethuboth 11b (Talmud): discusses sex with a minor…..this poster learned of this wickedness, originally, in Dr. Ted Pike’s book, “Israel: Our Duty, Our Dilemma”, page 34.

Pike writes many provocatie things. Are you absolutely sure he is not playing a BI or British Israel game? Has he ever blasted the ‘earthly kingdom concepts?’ I don’t have more than a suspicious nature to support this caution, but I have been on top of the BI’s for a long, long time. Check out previous column ‘Divide and Conquer thru belief.’

    Greetings Tom,

“The Romans had destroyed Jerusalem before these writings were written.” So that places “these writings” after the year 70, about 40 years after the death of the supposed Jehoshua. And about the same time that most scholars place the earliest gospel, Mark. So, how does this add anything to
verify the existence of the Bible Jesus?
And no writers, including Jesus (could he write?), left us any evidence that he touched down in Jerusalem about the year O. There is no contemporary writing, as far as I know, that mentions the dude.

So I will remain a skeptic of the historical pagan jew, Jesus. It is all make believe.

    Tom Valentine
    October 28, 2011 – 6:00 pm
Gary, you have every right to be a skeptic, but you have missed an historic fact, Ever hear about Jamnia?
It was the town where the pharisee Sanhedrin fled prior to the Roman destruction of Jerusalem. They bailed out even before the Christians went to Pella. They set up in Jamnia prior to the year to the year 70, and the ‘Jerusalem Talmud’ was put together there. They did not move to the area of Babylon for a century, and did not produce the ‘so-called Babylonian/ Talmud for another century or so. The translation of the Aramaic of the earlier Talmud is contrasted with the latter by this author; this is the key to its flavor.

    It wasn’t muslims.
    October 28, 2011 – 9:57 pm
I really think this is an important topic, Tom. Very important. It’s almost like a key to everything.

I have only become aware of what’s in the Talmud during the past year—after all these years of my life, and all my education, and in spite of all the learned and well-read people I hang out with. One PhD goy I know, when I tried to tell him, replied: “Oh, there’s nothing to that. The Talmud is just a musty collection of commentaries by rabbis. It’s of no relevance except to scholars.” And when I told him he should read some of it, because he would be shocked, he just shrugged it off.

To my knowledge very few goyim know anything about the Talmud. Maybe most Jews know, maybe they don’t. But just the way, as a white person, I know how other white people feel about black Africans, how they talk candidly about them when they think it’s “safe” to do so; in that same way I suspect that most Jews understand how their kind feels, in general, about goyim—-because they hear what is said behind closed doors. (If any Jews are here reading this, I invite them to comment on that point.) Not every person born a Jew feels superior to goyim, but surely they are all aware of that ugly undercurrent within their culture. And I wonder: Do they realize just how bad the Talmud is? Or is that known only to the scholars and the extremists?

Taking that thought further: My suspicion is that Americans are directed to fear and despise “white supremacists”—those stereotypical well-armed WASPish skinhead types—as a distraction, so that we will not recognize or focus our attention on JEWISH SUPREMACISTS—who incidentally never appear on any government- or watchdog-organization list of dangerous persons; but maybe they should. Their weapons and tactics are more subtle than those of the skinhead, but they pose a much greater threat. “White racism” in America has been identified in the popular imagination as a phenomenon primarily of Southern Baptists and working-class Catholics. Never any mention of racism among white Jews—as if such a thing simply couldn’t happen; as if it were some kind of impossibility or oxymoron. How easily we are persuaded to accept the memes that are given to us!—like my friend who thinks he knows all about the Talmud he’s never read.

My introduction to the dangers of Talmudism came from Jeff Gates’ book, which also introduced me to Israel Shahak’s work. I am now working my way through Elizabeth Dilling and Douglas Reed. Mark Twain also wrote a provocative and insightful essay for Harper’s in 1898, which I think explains why he has receded from view in recent years as an American author. It’s not because the word “nigger” appears in Huck Finn; it’s because of what Twain said about the Jews. I think I’m going to need an entire shelf of such works, so I can develop my knowledge and share what I know. I may eventually buy my own Talmud, the whole enchilada, though it is expensive. I don’t want anyone telling me, “Oh, that’s just some baloney you found on the internet; the real Talmud doesn’t say that.”

This needs to get out. This is what they most fear we will come to understand about how they work. How will they deny what is in their own sacred tracts? How will they explain to the Christian zionists what their rabbis said about Mary and Jesus? How will they explain their Yom Kippur prayer where they absolve themselves of any obligation to honor promises or tell goyim the truth?

    Truly scary Tom.

If only the Christian Right knew, imagine what a tectonic shift would occur.

I say, what the Talmudists fear most is what we must give them a double helping of—EXPOSURE.

I can guarantee you there is white racism among the Jews. But you forget. A majority of them are white in this country. They learned the majority prejudice of this country. They learned it so well they forgot they were also discriminated against.

To understand the world we are living in now and our predicament as Goyim, it is a must to read the Talmud, i.e. the CODEX of the Zion Talmudic Mafia that has hijacked America-Europe-Australia and is on its way to hijack India and China too, as alternative to having shop in America, which has been milked dry.

Matt, yes book was published in 2007, andis important because it defines writing close to time Jesus and disciples were alive and teaching, prior to 70 AD, and thedifferences from writings hundreds of years later; turns out to be good documentation for dating the times of New testament books and events, which have long been controversial, see Gary’s post above.

Yes Tom, I have heard about Jamnia. The story I read was that rabbi Jochannon was smuggled out of Jerusalem in a coffin. He had many scrolls with him. This was just before the Romans destroyed the temple in 70. But we are still decades after the time of Jesus’ supposed death. There was another war about 50 years later featuring rabbi Akiba and his messiach, bar Kochba. After this war, all Jews were kicked out of Jerusalem, without a right of return.

I still don’t see how anything in the Talmud can prove the existence of Jesus. The way I understand it, the Talmudists were responding to christianity and the christian myths. Christianity was real, but Jesus, I think not.

Unfortunately for the ‘believers’ in ‘religions’—what ever religion; they are all based upon fiction—all of that fiction is ‘poorly written’ and in fact is so heavily plagiarized that it would be tied up in courts the world over and not allowed publishing.
Science, even on the lower levels reveal a much more complex and varried world/universe/cosmos—that anyone who would study the science would automatically realize that a “Deity” that could create the “universe” and all that we know about it in just ‘six days’—and cannot write his own book, much less publish it—is a joke that humanity plays on itself all througout history.
A short study of comparitive religion will reveal the similarity of ALL of them; and their human origins since all of the “Gods” carry all of the human traits—jealousy, envy, lust, revenge, greed, —the “1st of the Ten”
reflects that “God is a jealous God” a trait the even dogs have————” and is considered by modern science to be an insecurity and a weakness——————–
The Hindu “God” Ganesh, has the head of an elephant; because his father had a bad temper and little tolerance for upstart toddlers”———————-1.7 billion people believe in him.
“Believing in a God or a Religion—all of them based upon weak and insecure Deities—is a weakness that humanity must over come if it hopes to survive itself.
This from the Grandson and Son of Baptist Missionarys to the Native Americans—-All Gods and Religions are simply fiction nothing more. And “the messiah, or Jesus, or the 12th” Imam—is not returning; and you only need to be “saved” from yourself—-and the slavery of “belief” in fiction.
If you are a ‘believer’ in any religion you are a slave to fiction; only science/facts/information will free you.
    Good Luck.

Gary, would it not have been convenient for the Jewish historian Josephus to have concocted the escaped rabbi, and ignore the mass move with the ‘scrolls’ to Jamnia? Josephus apparently worked hard not to mention Jesus and his following clearly, Why? it was certainly a huge part of that history.
    October 29, 2011 – 1:02 pm
Science/facts/information won’t free you either. You’ll need more than that.

Husbandof, As much as it gets twisted, religion is an inescapable part of history, which in itself is mostly bunk.
    October 29, 2011 – 12:01 pm
    Mr. Valentine,
You need not go back 2000 years for details about theories which have no basis in reality. In 1540 Copernicus provided a heliocentric cosmology, ie, the Earth was not the center of the Universe. This theory has facts & evidence as the basis for belief. You are quoting from a cult which has presented itself as a chosen people, chosen by a God of their own choosing, and presenting the material as proof, when in fact it is simply part of a greater middle eastern monotheistic mythology. Unfortunately, many people from differing cults on this planet cannot fathom the idea that the universe does not revolve around them. However, this delusional aggrandizement cannot be presented as fact simply because million of people do not want to think for themselves. Evidentiary rationale & reasonable discourse will continue to assist us to discover truths about the universe, the world & our place within.
    Tom Valentine
    October 29, 2011 – 12:39 pm
Christians admit that what they have is ‘faith.’ however non-believers, like many of you try to sound so sure, when the truth is you have only faith behind your non-belief. Methinks the faithless protest too much.
‘Evidentiary rationale and reasonable discourse’ have given us such consistent things as economics, vaccinations and confusing viral research controversies. You guys can have humanistic ‘reasoning, for all it is worth. But, please realize you are mere ‘believers’ like the rest of us.

    Gary Walker
    October 29, 2011 – 9:28 pm
Tom, faith is belief in things for which there is no evidence. Mark Twain put it this way, through the mouth of Puddin Head Wilson, “Faith is believing what you know ain’t so.” And the book of Hebrews claims that, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” (Ch. 11 v. 1) That’s because there is no evidence, or else you wouldn’t need blind faith. This is the opposit of the scientific method. And yes we (at least I) are believers in the scientific method as the best way of getting at the truth. The Bible and most religions praise faith because they do not have any evidence for their rediculous claims. Martin Luther said that reason was a terrible whore. Well so be it.

    October 29, 2011 – 1:49 pm
Thank you for your reply Mr. Valentine. In fact my spirituality and belief in God has been strengthen more by science than religion. For example, at this exact moment there are millions of chemical/biological reactions taking place within the human body. Synaptic connections, bio-acoustical signaling, hormonal balancing, consumption & excretion taking place within everyone of the millions of cells which carry us through our life. If I were responsible for the operating system of any one of these, (for instance, pumping 7 gallons of blood through my body every minute,) I would be dead. Ironically, these scientific facts have led to my belief in God, not the unsubstantiated claims, dogmatic teachings & rituals of any religion.
As you point out,”humanism”, which by definition is a system of thought based on the interests & ideals of humankind, is counter intuitive to the religious industry.
I do realize I was brainwashed, I mean raised a catholic. I also realize that, in spite of this, I am “believer”! I believe in God, I do not believe in religion.
I look forward to your response.

Rob, I deal with the wonders of metabolism every day, and obviously to me there is a Creator God, I was disheartened once when forced to confront the shortcomings of Holy Writ. And may have turned exactly as you describe, but life experiences plus continuous study convinced me that the advent of Jesus is not myth.
What people do with religion, is pretty much the same they do with health and medicine— they institutionalize it and dogma takes over. To each his own, however it pays to be sensible about it. We need that oriental concept of ‘balance,’ which I may write about soon.
    Gary Walker
    October 29, 2011 – 9:01 pm
Well, for what it is worth, the mention of metabolism reminds me of the sad story of Michael Servetus. He, a doctor who discovered or explained the human circulartory system, was burned at the stake in Switzerland because he doubted the trinity. This act of Christian brutality was orchestrated by John Calvin.

Even individuals who proudly embrace the BELIEF of “atheism,” do so with their CONSCIOUS minds. They possess personal CONSCIOUSNESS – but “believe” there is no consciousness BEYOND what “randomly” or “automatically” happens within their own and others’ physical brains.

I’ve been aware of many individuals (some of my personal acquaintance) able to perceive and communicate with those who have physically died, left their bodies. I know individuals who can leave their bodies and brains, move to distant locals and accurately perceive events.

A scientifically oriented mind must admit that if even ONE living human being can do what I describe above, then “CONSCIOUSNESS” must be capable of FAR MORE than just the “atheist” BELIEF that we humans are just animated “meat,” our THINKING, our ability to IMAGINE, our personal CONSCIOUSNESS, is just the result of random nerve actions in human brains.

It just may be that individual cells, even atoms, posssess a form of CONSCIOUSNESS enabling each to carry out a specific function to benefit the whole they are part of. It may be that CONSCIOUSNESS (of some degree) may exist within EVERY point in physical space. Is it so difficult to IMAGINE (a “gift” of our Consciousness) that GREATER degrees of Self-Consciousness may exist BEYOND our own physically limited human perceptions? Too difficult for some to imagine such expanded Consciousnesses can (at times) communicate with our own, limited Consciousness?

It may also be that the entire physical universe we think we perceive possesses a collosal SELF-AWARE consciousness impossible for us to ever conceive. If so, is it scientifically intelligent to “believe” some type of “intelligent Design” does NOT exist in Nature? Instead, “believe” (convince ourselves) that ALL that now exists, emanated from a hypothetical point in “nowhere” in “no time” that somehow exploded as a “Big Bang” into galaxies, space, time – and CONSCIOUSNESS?

I personally consider the above “Big Bang” poor, UN-imaginative fiction. Yet the “Big Bang” theory is the basis of the bag-of-BELIEFS held in the minds (no, make that “brains”) of athiests. Talk about “faith” in things not seen!

Yes, “RELIGIONS” are BELIEFS full of distortions and fictions – but they all appear to stress that we conscious human beings are MORE than just “accidentally” animated flesh. I suggest that “scentifically” oriented atheists may (happily or unhappily) discover that when their physical bodies die, it is NOT “lights out” and oblivion for their personal consciousness. See you later.

And I must say Dick, I agree with you that, “religions are beliefs full of distortions and fictions,” but I woud also add full of, oh never mind.

Good on you Tom, It is a bit of a challenge for the average “JEW” worshiping braindeadgoy to get their mind around the fact that there were never any ASHKENAZIM proselytes to Talmudic Judaism in the Old Testament. {Religion defined is a “Belief system} Jesus @ John 8:32 admonishes the NON-ISRAELITE “Imposters” in the Temple Treasury to “KNOW THE TRUTH”, @ v.33 “THEY” summarily convict themselves by declaring to have “NEVER BEEN IN BONDAGE”…They were not speaking “Yiddish”. One must simply realize the Almighty gave us a Brain, and we should use it for something other than a talmudic pus pocket. I Truly hope one day after consuming mass quantities of Willie Martins’ work & Eustace Mullins’, you can convene a cyberspace GRAND JURY to present the evidence and convict these BAD FAITH practitioners of Talmudic Judaism for all the crimes against mankind {Israelites}..that they have committed. If The Almighty promised Abraham a company of nations, and a progeny that was as numerous as the stars….look closely at the first world nations who have never been “Jewish”. Hating Jesus, adhering to the Talmud and hating the Truth makes someone a “JEWISH”. No ONE ON EARTH [http://www.israelect.com/reference/Willie-Martin/was_index.html] has to be a “JEWISH”…certainly not the Children of Israel mentioned in Deuteronomy 32 & Obadiah & Revelation 7 {w/out Dan} mentions no “JEWS” of Gog & Magog descent….[My question for all Braindeadgoy “JEW” worshipers is when specifically did the Children of Israel turn into “JEWS” ? ?] 90% of so-called “Jews” are descended from Khazar proselytes to talmudic judaism circa 740AD. *See Also Og Mandino’s The Christ Commission….[http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/jews.htm]

Anthony, It has been a long time since I heard the name—Issa Nakleh. I had the great pleasure of sitting next to him years ago at a banquet in his honor sponsored by the Liberty Lobby. He is truly a Palestinian hero and gentleman who devoted a lifetime to opposing Zionists.

  2. My introduction to the dangers of Talmudism came from Jeff Gates’ book, which also introduced me to Israel Shahak’s work. I am now working my way through Elizabeth Dilling and Douglas Reed.
