If this is a fact (and we know from Sir Richard Body (one time MP) that the CIA were heavily involved in the 1975 referendum), then it makes the whole legitimacy of our membership pretty questionable (not to mention the Constitutional angle that shows membership to beillegal) – the authorities have never permitted a referendum on any of the six treaties that have brought us to this sorry state, since they know they would lose.

Well done, it’s always worth re-reading this to remind ourselves of how desperate our opponents are, and how untrustworthy our Civil Service, which manufactured these lies.
Not the least of the lies in this outrageous piece of propaganda was the claim, deliberately misleading, that ‘voting’ would be the same as in a General Election, cynically leaving out the fact that counting would not be.
In the end not even shameless propaganda on this scale could win the referendum for the pro-Europeans and they had to resort to large-scale electoral fraud, distorting the results at the central counting stage, controlled by the German agent ******** later rewarded for his treachery with a life peerage. He should have been hanged earlier in his career – the terrorists’ charter the ECHR is part of his dreadful, blood-stained legacy.
It is thought the’ No’ side won by about 52.5% to 47.5% – not a huge margin, but enough.
Any future referendum on Europe must have transparent counting, under the control of honest local officials, with independent scrutineers, and the constituency result announced at the end of the count – the Whitehall machine is far too sleazy to be trusted.

From Michael Shripton – somewhere in the world:
Thank you Dave, but I am only a humble junior, not a QC!
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence, but of course the conclusion that the ‘ No’ [to depart the EEC] side won is based on a lot more than anecdotal evidence.
It is not a case of the ‘Yes’ side winning by only a narrow margin [my misunderstanding] – on the first tabulation of constituency results they actually lost. The central count was under the control of a German agent (NOT CIA) and in order to fabricate a ‘Yes’ result the number of ‘Yes’ votes in each constituency had to be reduced.
Returning officers only handed in the genuine counts to Whitehall – they were banned from publishing them, so the ‘No’ campaign could not scrutinise the results nationally, i.e. add up the number of ‘No’ votes from each constituency.
Wilson [Harold] was in on this fraud, indeed he only called the referendum once he was assured that he would win whatever happened, i.e. it would be rigged. When you think about a politician as devious and bent as Harold was, no offence intended, would never put EEC membership at risk in a fair contest, would he?
Sir Richard [Body then MP], a good man, had supported the idea of the EEC in his youth, when it was portrayed as an idealistic enterprise to keep the peace in Europe (yes we know that was all nonsense, but that was how the EEC used to be portrayed, before the Maastricht Treaty triggered mass slaughter in the Balkans and plunged south-east Europe into war). His CIA file still showed him as likely to support the ‘Yes’ side – a classic intelligence cock-up, hence the approach of two CIA officers reporting to Cord Meyer Junior, CIA Station Chief in London at the time (although the CIA station in the UK is largely based underground, at RAF Mildenhall) (sorry boys, but you should have stayed out of our referendum).
Cord however reported, knowingly or not, to the GERMAN COREA Group in Frankfurt, part of the DVD [Deutsche Verteidigungs Dienst], which largely controlled the CIA from the time a German agent, Roscoe Hillenkoetter, was appointed as its first director, indeed the agency’s very name is an oblique reference to the Central Powers in WW1 (I suppose calling it the Kraut Intelligence Agency, or KIA, might have given the game away). No other US agency uses the word ‘central’ (they are mostly ‘federal,’ like the FBI), except the Central Security Service, which monitors the CIA, i.e. derives its name from the penetrated agency it polices.
Roscoe was of course the senior Axis agent at Pearl Harbor in ’41’.
In strict law, the rigging of the count does not affect our membership, since repeal of the ECA72 was not made automatic on a ‘No’ result [heads we win, tails you lose].
The ballot papers were destroyed, but I gather the original tally is still on the Cabinet Office file. If we were able to get some honesty into the political process (a long shot I know) we could publish those figures and overturn the result.
The idea that as a country we voted for national humiliation in this way is pretty offensive. The fake ‘Yes’ count is a stain on our national honour, which should be removed by the Mr Muscle of the truth.
Sadly the German agent who rigged the count cannot be hanged, as he died a few years ago (hopefully in pain) and Cord is too old to be fried by the Americans, indeed he too may have snuffed it by now, poor chap (he was quite a character by all accounts and even though he was an enemy of our country he was a likeable enemy, if not as charming as say Heinrich Himmler). Wilson of course is dead, thank God, but there are still a few corrupt officials around who could be deprived of their pensions and publicly humiliated.
Civil servants love their pensions, so one way to get the bastards to admit what they did would be to threaten to pass an Act depriving all involved of any further emolument from the Crown unless they spill the beans. In my experience the best way to get something out of a senior civil servant is to smack him about a bit.
