Occupy Wall Street Demands Global UN Tax and Worldwide G20 Protest……

Occupy Wall Street Demands Global UN Tax and Worldwide G20 Protest

Thursday, October 20, 2011 – by Staff Report

Occupy’s busting out on a new path … So Adbusters is asking people all around the world to march on Oct. 29. “We want to send a clear message that we the people want to slow down this global casino.” And Adbusters does have one specific demand, a 1 percent tax on financial-sector transactions (perhaps stocks, bonds, foreign-currency trades and derivatives). Some form of that idea, known as the “Robin Hood” tax, has been around for a while and might actually fly. – Jerry Large/Seattle Times

Dominant Social Theme: We want justice for the world and the UN will give it to us.

Free-Market Analysis: Kalle Lasn, founder of Adbusters magazine, based in Vancouver, B.C. – the magazine that issued the call for the initial Occupy Wall Street protests – has called on people to protest the upcoming G20 while demanding a one-percent tax on financial transactions.

The revenue raised would be enormous and the lingering question is where this incredible revenue stream would be directed. The answer is obvious to those who follow what we call “directed history.” The intention is likely to fund the UN as part of a final push to rationalize and perfect the initial stages of true world government.

As we have written before, the movement toward world government is happening very quickly now. The ramifications are enormous and people who write off these protests as spontaneous and short-lived are not grasping what is taking place, in our humble opinion.

The financial sales tax has been around for a very long time but has found its most recent voice in a column by Jerry Large of the Seattle Times. He recently gained an exclusive interview with Kalle Lasn, who sounds as if he hopes that a large protest on Oct 29th will mark the beginning of a push for such a tax.

What’s going on is pure one-worldism, an OWS ideology that is gradually revealing itself in dribs and drabs. It is one reason that that the OWS leaders have made no specific demands. They have hoped to create a momentum, apparently, before revealing what they are truly after. The movement seems to be part of a larger wave of directed history that has been in play for at least a century and is now reaching a dénouement.

The one-percent tax has been a staple of United Nations demands for more than a decade. Google UN and “one-percent tax” and plenty of information will appear – over three million citations, in fact.

Way back in 1996, a post appearing on “Americasfuture.net,” entitled “U.N. Tax Threatens U.S. Sovereignty,” explained that United Nations Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali wanted a tax of this sort to make the UN “independent.”

Boutros-Ghali wants to finance the nearly bankrupt United Nations by imposing a global tax on foreign exchange transactions. A mere half-of-one-percent tax on these transactions would generate an astounding $1.5 trillion … The important thing is to establish an independent revenue source.

Lasn doesn’t make mention of the UN angle, though it is perfectly possible when demands for this movement are finally fleshed out that we shall discover this tax is to be administered by the UN. For us the entire gamut of protests now occurring are part of a power elite strategy to advance world government.

There is ample evidence that the movement’s impetus came in part from US State Dept. facilities created to finance and organize “youth movements” around the world and has had significant input from American Intel and military agencies. This makes sense within the context of Occupy Wall Street’s unstated Leftist agenda.

False flag movements generated by the powers-that-be are invariably statist, because that is how they maintain and expand control. Government is a big part of the command-and-control equation, especially if you’re trying to build a “new world order.” Those involved intimately in Occupy Wall Street would seem to have a leftist agenda, as we’ve document in numerous articles now. But they also may be willing participants in a false flag venture.

David McGraw, one of the non-leader leaders of the movement, has no journalistic profile going back farther than two years from what we can tell, which is odd to say the least. Matt Taibbi poses as a muck-raker but the solutions he has recently and publicly contributed are extremely statist and tax-oriented. Leftist Adbuster’s magazine is at least to some extent funded by the Soros one-world crowd. Here’s some more from the article:

Adbusters magazine, based in Vancouver, B.C., issued the first call for people to occupy Wall Street. In its July issue the magazine asked for 20,000 people to show up on Sept. 17. A month in, I asked Adbusters founder Kalle Lasn how he thought the action was going. “As far as the birth of movements goes, I can’t imagine a better beginning,” he said. It’s been wild and messy, he said, but he believes that’s to the good. It has people talking, trying to figure out what those folks want.

What Lasn wants is clearer. For two decades, the international magazine has been attacking consumer capitalism as the center of many of the world’s ills. He’d like an economic system friendlier to humans and to the environment … The demonstrators are saying they want a different kind of future. Lasn says they are learning from each other different ways to eat, to get around, to collaborate, different ways to get information … People feel in the pits of their stomachs that things are not right economically or politically. He praised the Tea Party for recognizing that and trying to do something about it, even though he doesn’t agree with its diagnosis …

Now in the Occupy movement, he said, “the political left has showed some chutzpah.” But ultimately, he said, the solutions won’t be found by clinging rigidly to the left or right. “We want to have more variety and more debate and to get rid of the corruption at the heart of our system.” In two weeks, leaders of the G-20 (the world’s largest economies) will meet in France, and Adbusters wants to send them a message. At the least, it may get people thinking a different path is possible.

Lasn’s language is revealing. He wants to “get rid of the corruption at the heart of the system.” In fact, there is no corruption at the heart of the system. It is the system ITSELF that is corrupt. But it’s Lasn’s job as an apparent employee of the world’s great banking families to position the dialogue in a way that is most advantageous to the expansion of global governance.

No doubt there will be protests on October 29th. The controlled mainstream media will make sure they occur. The Anglosphere power elite has now deliberately set in motion a series of protests designed to leverage and focus the Western middle class’s current rage over the failing worldwide economy by providing behind-the-scenes command and control.

Next may come demands for more globalist solutions to ensure that “transparency” is implemented in government along with so-called “direct democracy” – as we have analyzed them in the recent past. Even the way forward is beginning to become clear. McGraw, Taibbi and Julian Assange of WikiLeaks fame are all involved in this movement as young leaders, and all seem to us, possibly anyway, part of a kind of directed history as well.

They are the stars of the show and the masses of young protesters following them are the manipulated “extras” that provide credibility for the larger movement in an unknowing way. And this is why we have floated the idea that libertarians ought to “get out and get out now.” Start another movement that uses the Occupy Wall Street notoriety without providing it further viability. That’s what Alex Jones did with his newly-created anti-Fed movement. It likely can be done.

Conclusion: What is surprising is the boldness with which the great banking families and their enablers and associates are moving. Perhaps they are panicked by what we call the Internet Reformation and its truth telling, which has fully exposed their strategies and existence as never before. Perhaps, swaddled by unimaginable wealth and power, they just don’t care.

@DB “And the eight families are?”

The source of my comment is an Israeli dissident who has survived tow assassination attempts by the Mossad. His book Cross of Bethlehem recounts his persecution by the Israeli State.

In a recent article he makes reference to this fact although his actual words are “just a few families”. The number eight is mentioned elsewhere in his writings, the Cross of Bethlehem I believe, or I could have read it elsewhere. In the first letter of the apostle Peter to the twelve tribes in the diaspora he makes reference to the meaning of “few”: “In the ark a few, that is eight souls, were delivered through water.” (1 Peter 3:20b)

Here is a link to and an excerpt from the above mentioned article about the release of Gilad Shalit:

The reference in question is in the last paragraph.

“Shalit was part of Brigade 188 – also known as Barak (lightning) – a subunit of Division 36, which is the armored vehicles unit controlling the occupied Golan Heights. This division’s activities within Syria are described in The Cross of Bethlehem. The 188 brigade is based on Merkava tanks. The last were designed and constructed in Israel. They suffer of purposely designed weaknesses. They feature weak tops and bottoms and require frequent maintaining services; in fact every few hours of engine activity they must be thoroughly checked out. Why is this relevant?

Everything from the construction of the tank to its maintaining is performed in Israel by Israeli companies. The Israeli economy is managed by very few families (see The Cross of Bethlehem). They make huge profits of military activities; especially since a large chunk of Israel military expenses are paid by Uncle Obama. The Israeli military oligarchy doesn’t care if Shalit is free or not: they care about the IDF moving around as much as possible; this means fresh dollars for their deep pockets.”

Just like the many onerous regulations that hurt small businesses more than the megacorporations, a one percent tax on financial transactions will hurt the little guy more than it will the Wall Street fat cats it is intended to punish.

Many senior citizens are already suffering from the absurdly low interest rates which are forcing them to either draw down their principle (eroding their savings) or accept more risk than anyone their age should be taking on. Adding this tax could be the final blow for many of them.

And what impact will this have on the mutual funds so many people have invested in via their 401K or other retirement plan? Won’t the fund’s performance be affected if every time the manager rebalances the portfolio, the transactions incur this tax?

Everyone will be poorer, but the rich won’t feel the difference as much.

Sorry, I didn’t intend that to be a reply to amanfromMars.

@ Jennifer “normalcy bias”

Yes that term would seem to be appropriate though by wiki definition it seemed to deal more with linear events. In my example there would be complexities such as uprooting oneself, and in Europe that would mean abandoning estates that have been in ones family for generations before anything happens as just an example.

Plus wars can go many ways because people, diplomacy/ alliances effect the events. A tornado or hurricane has no prejudice nor strategy.

Having said that, I think that I shall use the term just the same, for me it will become the new ‘cognitive dissonance’- ha!

Cheers-

Thanks Timur for your thoughtful posts in this string. I tend toward a similar assessment of the approaching events. The reason for my tendency to lean toward a cautiously optimistic outcome for these events are the afforementioned complexities that you refer to. From these complexities spring the Law of Unintended Consequences (As described by wiki below)

“In the social sciences, unintended consequences (sometimes unanticipated consequences or unforeseen consequences) are outcomes that are not the outcomes intended by a purposeful action. The concept has long existed but was named and popularised in the 20th century by American sociologist Robert K. Merton.[1] Unintended consequences can be roughly grouped into three types:

A positive, unexpected benefit (usually referred to as serendipity or a windfall).
A negative, unexpected detriment occurring in addition to the desired effect of the policy (e.g., while irrigation schemes provide people with water for agriculture, they can increase waterborne diseases that have devastating health effects, such as schistosomiasis).
A perverse effect contrary to what was originally intended (when an intended solution makes a problem worse), such as when a policy has a perverse incentive that causes actions opposite to what was intended”.

The events that are to come are indeed going to be quite disruptive. Obviously the Anglo Elites have gone to GREAT lengths to ensure the deck is stacked in their favor. However, due to the many non-linear and thus unpredictable consequences I will choose to lean, as it appears you do, toward an optimisic longer term outcome since all the variables are not yet known.

Thanks Elves for the high quality reserch you folks at the Daily Bell provide daily.

Gee, JoseJose, the eight families who run Israel might be Jewish? Ya think? We’d still like to know who they are, supposedly. We hadn’t heard of this specific formulation before. Anyway, we don’t think its eight families. We think it might be ONE family.

“And why does this sort of admitted fascism have to be GERMAN. Isn’t the Anglosphere good at fascism, too? Seems they may even have dreamed it up … ”

I believe Nazism has a basis in racial theory that is lacking in the Mussolini type of Fascism. They are of course both authoritarian ideologies with very similar ideas about how society should be organised and, as I have said before, the EU architecture was the brainchild of Walter Hallstein the first president of the European Commission who was also a member of the IG Farben Cartel connected to the Rockefeller group. It is I believe the racial theory that differentiates the two.

On that line there is a very interesting series of articles by Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya the fourth of which is still in production but here are the first three:

Here is an excerpt from the third article:

“In the same context as the sectarian divisions in the Middle East, the Israelis have outlined plans to reconfigure Africa. The Yinon Plan seeks to delineate Africa on the basis of three facets:

(1) ethno-linguistics;
(2) skin-colour;
(3) religion.

It seeks to draw dividing lines in Africa between a so-called “Black Africa” and a supposedly “non-Black” North Africa. This is part of a scheme to create a schism in Africa between what are assumed to be “Arabs” and so-called “Blacks.”

An attempt to separate the merging point of an Arab and African identity is underway.

This objective is why the ridiculous identity of an “African South Sudan” and an “Arab North Sudan” have been nurtured and promoted. This is also why black-skinned Libyans have been targeted in a campaign to “colour cleanse” Libya. The Arab identity in North Africa is being de-linked from its African identity. Simultaneously there is an attempt to eradicate the large populations of “black-skinned Arabs” so that there is a clear delineation between “Black Africa” and a new “non-Black” North Africa, which will be turned into a fighting ground between the remaining “non-Black” Berbers and Arabs.

In the same context, tensions are being fomented between Muslims and Christians in Africa, in such places as Sudan and Nigeria, to further create lines and fracture points. The fuelling of these divisions on the basis of skin-colour, religion, ethnicity, and language is intended to fuel disassociation and disunity in Africa. This is all part of a broader African strategy of cutting North Africa off from the rest of the African continent.”

This perspective places the developing strategy of the Oligarchy in the Nazi version of Fascism with its racial theory underpinnings. This would also indicate the occult influence I have mentioned from time to time since the Nazis were I believe directed along this line by their controllers in the global cartels. The July 22 killings in Norway were the work of a Muslim hating Zionist and this attitude has been deliberately cultivated I believe by the multicultural policies encouraged by the Oligarchy. There is I believe a reversal of this programme underway in official circles once more on the instructions of the Oligarchy.

The Israeli influence is very marked and no doubt motivated by their own racial supremacist thinking. It is also a fact that Israel itself is controlled by just eight families.

Whether the Oligarchy, whoever they are, are successful in fully implementing their strategy it is there for all to see. There are many who believe they are unstoppable but my own belief is that they will fail with a resounding crash very suddenly.

There is an article by the Japanese writer Yoichi Shimatsu at 4th. media postulating that OWS is a Nazi Trojan Horse

http://en.m4.cn/2011/10/17/occupy-wall-street-a-trojan-horse-for-nazi-revival/

“The Nazis are back on the streets of the Western world. This time, they’re not wearing swastika armbands or raising the straight-arm salute. Instead, neo-Nazi operatives are keeping a low profile, tweeting messages over iPhones, communicating with hand signals and brandishing propaganda posters from Adbusters.

Despite appearances of free-for-all equality at Occupy Wall Street protests, a clandestine rightist network – allied with British intelligence agents and a far-right Swedish tycoon – secretly controls the agenda. ”

How an alleged anti-semitic, anti-consumerist environmentalist (Kalle Lasn) can be associated with bringing down the corporate cartels centred on the central banking network and be supported in this by George Soros may be somewhat elucidated by Mr. Shimatsu if one accepts his perspective.

The 1% tax, the Tobin tax, was in fact mooted at the very outset by Webster Tarpley who so far as I am aware is not connected with the organisers. After reading the article in the Seattle Times I am puzzled as to why the 1% tax idea was tagged on at the end .

It doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of what Lasn says. Perhaps he himself as Adbusters would like to see that happen but he doesn’t speak for the movement so it may be a little misleading. Here is the article so others can decide for themselves what it is about.

What Lasn says in the article coincides very well with everything else that I have read about the thinking of the organisers. At that time it was my belief that the organisers are aware of being used by the elites to fulfil their agenda.

However they also believe that history (there is a nice Marxist word) is on their side and that it is their agenda of global direct democracy and global justice (whatever that means) with the destruction of the present system that will prevail. Perhaps they are both right… or both wrong. My belief is that it is the latter. Nevertheless we are living in interesting times.

Now you sound more skeptical. Thanks for the links.

And … It is surely a brilliant article but kind of a stretch. Why does Assange have to be a Nazi? Because he dyes his hair? He is not naturally blond apparently, nor perhaps even blue eyed …

It seems to us something of a meme – that the Nazis are resurgent. A way of confusing the issue and taking the heat off the central banking families.

The writer even admits that the movement is backed by Soros and British military intelligence. Then he has to make the argument that both Soros and MI5 and 6 are secret Nazi sympathizers! …

And why does this sort of admitted fascism have to be GERMAN. Isn’t the Anglosphere good at fascism, too? Seems they may even have dreamed it up …

Ah, and know for some pure und unadulterated irony:

“The Large Families that rule the world”

This is interesting, I just came up today with this:

A University of Zurich study ‘proves’ that a small group of companies – mainly banks – wields huge power over the global economy:

“The study is the first to look at all 43,060 transnational corporations and the web of ownership between them – and created a ‘map’ of 1,318 companies at the heart of the global economy.

The study found that 147 companies formed a ‘super entity’ within this, controlling 40 per cent of its wealth. All own part or all of one another. Most are banks – the top 20 includes Barclays and Goldman Sachs.”

Read more: Click to view link

Revealed – the capitalist network that runs the world:

“AS PROTESTS against financial power sweep the world this week, science may have confirmed the protesters’ worst fears. An analysis of the relationships between 43,000 transnational corporations has identified a relatively small group of companies, mainly banks, with disproportionate power over the global economy.

The study’s assumptions have attracted some criticism, but complex systems analysts contacted by New Scientist say it is a unique effort to untangle control in the global economy. Pushing the analysis further, they say, could help to identify ways of making global capitalism more stable.

The idea that a few bankers control a large chunk of the global economy might not seem like news to New York’s Occupy Wall Street movement and protesters elsewhere (see photo). But the study, by a trio of complex systems theorists at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, is the first to go beyond ideology to empirically identify such a network of power. It combines the mathematics long used to model natural systems with comprehensive corporate data to map ownership among the world’s transnational corporations (TNCs).”

This network being suspected, thankyou for the info. Now we need the link as to how THEY, the network, groom and fund the campaigns of government officials. Once in, their operation proceeds via. public debt. The timing is critical. Before the debt bomb explodes, they need the inroads to have been paved.

This will never pass in the US. Tax bills must originate in the House so it’s dead, not that it would have any chance in the Senate. Recall that Kyoto failed miserably in the Senate back when Global Warming had a lot more momentum.

DB: More propaganda to focus attention away from the source …

Yes, but it is still surprising to see such talk in the mainstream media: openly discussing issues such as “conspiracy” and “world domination”, backed by “scientific research”. This is why I thought it was quite remarkable.

It may be a limited hangout and/or focusing away from the source (central banking), but they are also getting dangerously close to waking up masses of unsuspecting readers (or at least, getting them to think more seriously about these “world domination” issues). The article also mention that banks occupy most of the top positions in this hierarchy.

DB: “Perhaps they are panicked by what we call the Internet Reformation”

Strategically speaking, elite power players by creating the OWS have admitted that what they want to accomplish is beyond their slipping degree of control, needing assistance from “we, the dupes”, a win for freedom. Further, controlling (manipulating, focusing) the OWS mob to demand what those who are attempting to co-opt this very reasonable public rage, especially among youth is very far from “fait accompli”.

Disagree (with DB) that libertarians should, at this point, give up on influencing OWS, bail and start competing groups. This will just diffuse, “divide and conquer” the demand for change before it is apparent that Libertarians, especially the thwarted tea partiers and Ron Paul revolutionaries with their persuasive / organizational skills have failed.

the jury is still out, the future unwrit regarding OWS. We will know them by what they do / demand and, this global tax “proposal” is unconvincing as to OWS consensus.

The OWS is like “god”, silent, setting the stage for “interpreters” to represent “god’s will”. We know how that one worked out, they are still hurting, centuries later.

Consider what has already been done with taxes (involuntary servitude, paying for your own guns to coerce you pay for actions contrary to YOUR survival interests)

– complete subversion of education, loss of real history, loss of the values required to peacefully cooperate in civilization, loss of ability to critically think, loss of freedom, loss of our laws regarding constitutional, republican government, loss of work ethic…

– our governments running amok, initiating aggression domestically and internationally, risking blowback and, perhaps one of our victims lobbing a “big one” at us.

– pervasive, pointless regulation attempting to control us in straitjackets, making even the simplest choices such as building a garden shed on our OWN property a matter with far reaching and unknown legal consequences. Enforcing the same regulations making OUR own police hated and resented, subject to blowback, making them paranoid, tending to shoot first, lie later, building a police state.

And, to have a world government, with its finger on the jugular of human productivity, to refuse to obey (be servile) is to be smited, with no place to run, to hide. Who’s gonna control this voracious beast? Themselves? Reasonable “democracy”, appeasing the “entitled”? Hah!

Be afraid, be very afraid. And, this is the “fate” our “leaders” have sold us out for.

More from the Daily Mail report on this scientific research:

‘One thing won’t chime with some of the protesters’ claims: the super-entity is unlikely to be the intentional result of a conspiracy to rule the world. “Such structures are common in nature,” says Sugihara.

Newcomers to any network connect preferentially to highly connected members. TNCs [transnational corporations] buy shares in each other for business reasons, not for world domination. If connectedness clusters, so does wealth, says Dan Braha of NECSI: in similar models, money flows towards the most highly connected members. The Zurich study, says Sugihara, “is strong evidence that simple rules governing TNCs give rise spontaneously to highly connected groups”. Or as Braha puts it: “The Occupy Wall Street claim that 1 per cent of people have most of the wealth reflects a logical phase of the self-organising economy.”

So, the super-entity may not result from conspiracy. The real question, says the Zurich team, is whether it can exert concerted political power. Driffill feels 147 is too many to sustain collusion. Braha suspects they will compete in the market but act together on common interests. Resisting changes to the network structure may be one such common interest.’

Howdy, memehunter!

Yes, a friend sent me the link to the story earlier today. Remarkable timing for such a, um, limited hangout, eh?

The Fed will be sacrificed at the altar of the NWO. The Fed will be done away with and replaced with a brand new shining new version in the NWO. The name will change but the game will be the same. Only this time it will be global. NWO cannot be stopped. It is coming. The only good news is that it will not be stable. Once the enablers learn that they are also just slaves like everyone else some of them will revolt. That is when the real fireworks will start. Expect no true revolt today. Learn to live free in an unfree world.

This would tend be our position. It is possible that with a worldwide bank you would not need “central banking” anymore as it is today.

“History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme.” – Mark Twain

If I remember my Roman history from the last days of the Republic Crassus (Soros) supplied the financing while Caesar (McGraw?, ???) marshaled his street thugs to enforce favorable electoral outcomes. Unlike Rome, Thomas Jeffereson’s wisdom provided for a physical separation of America’s political capital (DC) from its financial capital (NYC).

While you may be more certain as time goes on, Charles Hugh Smith has just blogged a strong support of David DeGraw. See his Of Two Minds blog.

Well, why don’t you try to post a comment in DeGraws AmpedStatus site with a strong support for immediately abolishing the FED and fiat money. Ah, and while you’re at it – try to tell him that his free-lunch-for-all claptrap sucks.

IF he publishes it, or finally makes up HIS mind and writes, at long last, some basic facts about the FED in his otherwise rather lengthy articles, I, for once, may reconsider my thoughts on DeGraw. Don’t know about the elves, though …
