Bloomberg to Demonstrators: Parasites Are Meant To Rule

Blowhard Mayor Defends Banksters as “Job Makers”

By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

Today, New York’s mayor Bloomberg, whose rampaging police force has brought combat veterans and union members to New York to defend the constitution, has totally flipped his lid.

This is what he has said today: “Everyone’s got a thing they want to protest, some of which is not realistic,” Bloomberg said during his weekly radio show on Friday, according to The Village Voice.

“And if you focus for example on driving the banks out of New York City, you know those are our jobs … You can’t have it both ways: If you want jobs you have to assist companies and give them confidence to go and hire people.”

The only jobs New York’s financial community has created is work for bailiffs throwing people out of their homes or collection agencies. New York, “ground zero” for a generation of financial hucksters that have destroyed the American economy through an endless series of criminal scams, is finally beginning to see where things are going.

In today’s presidential press conference, especially from “minute 21 onward,” President Obama makes it clear that the “Occupy Wall Street” protestors are ”speaking for the frustrations of the American people.” It seems like the president and the mayor have different ideas who and what “people” actually are. Major Bloomberg’s definition is a frightening one.

Now there are only protests, stifled by uniformed thugs. In a nation with 100 million living in near poverty, tens of millions facing homelessness, all because of friends of Michael Bloomberg, yes, I mean literally this mans good friends, it is only the Bush era police state that is keeping the lid on things.

Bloomberg and New York City – Crime Capital of the World ?
Otherwise, yes, things would get worse. America would be in total revolt against a government that chose to pay off its criminals rather than jail them.

The reason Bloomberg loosed his thugs quickly is because he knew it was close to citizens arrests and real trials in real courts, not the ones bought and sold on Wall Street, the ones run by the cabal Bloomberg is fronting for.

The 9/11 cover-up, ten years of war, tens of thousands of veteran suicides, a government trying to dismantle social security, why is all this going on?

The answer is simple. We know who to blame. The money that Americans are supposed to earn, the jobs they are supposed to have, the retirement funds put away for decades, the taxes paid by the many, those who can least afford it, all of this has been done to guarantee the privileged life for the few, the Michael Bloombergs, the parasites of the world.

He doesn’t like protests.

This is more of Bloomberg’s drivel from Politico:

“The protests that are trying to destroy the jobs of working people in this city aren’t productive,” Bloomberg said.

“What they’re trying to do is take away the jobs of people working in the city, take away the tax base that we have,” Bloomberg added. “We’re not going to have money to pay our municipal employees or anything else.”

Bloomberg also attacked the labor unions who joined the fray this week, saying that “their salaries come from — are paid by — some of the people they’re trying to vilify.”

The New-Real Face of the Bloomberg Administration
A nation of 350 million people faces blanket poverty, has lived through a decade of war, has seen its financial future disappear and there is no question whatsoever about who is responsible and where they are.

Finally, after years of silence, Americans are showing some backbone and all Michael Bloomberg can do is come up with this?

Can’t he afford better writers? A child could make up a better story than this one.

When is Bloomberg going to start spouting threats about demonstrators being “Al Qaeda terrorists?” I expect it any time now.

Americans are asking for simple justice. All we want is the banks put out of business and those running them to rot in prison for the rest of their lives? Is that so unreasonable?

There have never been so many criminals gathered in one area like this before. New Yorkers must be proud.

Think of the disaster if they are all hauled off to prison. Think of the jobs lost. No more cleaning their toilets, ironing their shirts, driving their limousines. These are the jobs that Bloombergs criminal friends create. What jobs have they cost?

Are New Yorkers Subman’s to Zionist Mayor Bloomberg?
Do you think America turned into a nation of “burger flippers” by accident? Did you borrow the $15 trillion dollars that the American people have to pay, that “national debt” we hear so much about?

Ah, Bloomberg’s magical banks, their endless schemes, mortgage fraud, derivitive fraud, junk bonds, it goes on decade after decade, the endless “pump and dump.”

“They” manage to lose money ”they” never had and the rest of us have to reimburse them somehow or the world will stop spinning.

I am willing to risk it.

Close them down, all of them, no more ”free lunch,” no more “get of out jail free” cards.

Hunt them down, every single on of them, jail the lot of them and throw away the key.

Turn Manhattan into a ghost town if necessary.

We recognize our enemy and it is you.

What needs to be known about this crappy employer, bumberg, comes direct from an inside employee. His company has laid off or fired everyone over 40 year old and replaced them with young collega grads at one third the salary. Plus the fired employees have had to train their replacements. Obviously, you won’t hear about this in the local press. How could you, they own the press. He’s so concerned about workers, hah. He’s only concerned about his pocket.

If ever there was a 100% Bought and Paid For puppet of the Zionists, it is Herman Cain. His comment that those who aren’t rich don’t deserve to be reflects absolutely the total contempt which those who have run America for the past couple of decades have towards the average person: they think they are vermin.

They however are the vermin, and hopefully they will soon be dealt with.

+1 … I couldn’t believe how Herman Cain described the demonstrators…

“Cain suggests the protesters should focus on going to school and getting a job.”

Sure, repeal NAFTA & CAFTA and maybe there would be some jobs here to have.

Great article- the city where the lower east side was made into a haven for the rich, where NYU takes as much property as it can steal and where Bloomberg gives his quiet consent. The Bowery- a place that was simple, where a lot of alcoholics went but was affordable. Other than rent control, one must have big income to rent in NY City. This is the legacy Bloomberg will leave.
No more Ramones or other bands starting up in lower NY unless they all pool their money and cram into an apartment.
St. Vincent’s Hospital took care of the Bowery boys and so many poor people but because of their high ideals they went out of business. Money and only money talks in NY City. This is the legacyof Bloomberg.

Even though Bloomberg made some stupid comments I’m glad he made them, it brings more public disgust and anger and attention to the situation.

What really irritates me about the Wall Street crowd is they took trillions of our money, who knows if they will actually pay all of it back, and use it for speculating in futures markets and the stock exchanges. Goldman Sachs and the rest of them are supposed to be investment banks.

A while back I was stunned to hear the staggering percentage of the Wall Street banks’ money used to trade their own account in the futures markets and stock markets, mentioned in a PBS report. It seems actual investment banking is a secondary business for them. Perhaps the Federal Reserve can give all U.S. citizens money to speculate in soybeans, corn, gold, foreign currency, U.S. Treasury bond, silver and cheese puff markets.

In my local paper today a woman who grew some pot was gaoled for 12 mths and fined £4000. A chap who ran a property company stole £500,000 from his clients got a suspended sentence and no fine. Suspended sentence means no time in gaol. ( state pen ).

Perhaps we should all arrange overdrafts write each other large cheques, take out maximum loans and rack up credit card bills buying gold and silver thus de-capitalising the banks. A sort of global refund for the hundreds of years of DEBT SLAVERY we have had inflicted on us and our parents and our grand parents and our great grand parents etc ……… When they ask for the money back we will hit them with a demand for twice what we owe with no strings attached stating that if they don’t take this course of action the sky will fall in and the world will end.

Some good stuff in the replies to a good article. It seems that the powerful wealthy and political elite are still operating the same as they were back in the Vietnam war days and with more arrogance. Their Karma is catching up to them and it is very predictable that after enough white collar crime and unemployment and greed that the people would revolt. they almost alway do. Lets hope that this does not become violent like alot of the communist revolutions. Their revolutions are usually rooted in the same shit. Out of control greed, wealth at the top and control of the masses through fear and brainwashing. Their methods suck so lets not go there. Compassionate Wrath and non-violent warriors is what is needed and those of us who are combat veterans, who well know uncontrolled violence, are well equipped to do it right and for the people and without violence this time. We need a united “goal” from all these demonstrations – I elect Gordon to become the leader, and here are a few of our collective demands:
– Repeal NAFTA & CAFTA and bring back jobs to this country
– Dissolve the privately owned Federal Reserve Corporation and make it truly ‘Federal” with oversight
– Repeal the Supreme Court ruling allowing Corporations to anonymously contribute towards election campaigns – this is how politicians are bought!
– Enforce term limits on all of congress, one term – and you represent the people that elected you!
– Laws passed by Congress applies to them as well, and no more self-voted pay raises – I can’t do that, neither should you!
– Ban all lobbyists – what good are they for anyway?
– Make sure EVERYONE pays their fair share of taxes.
– Enforce the Anti-Trust laws that already exist, this will stop these mega-corporations from totally enslaving “we the people” of the United States
– America Firsters need only run in politics, no more dual citizenships for anyone serving our public… this is a no brainer.

October 7, 2011 – 8:20 pm
… oh yeah, and one more – “We the People” have the ability to call out any congress-person for treason! That should keep them in line Transparency in government, as Obama originally called for (before the establishment turned against him and US)

Don’t be fooled by Obama’s jobs bill rhetoric. The reality is on Monday Obama sent to congress another disastrous job killing trade bill called KORUS. This is the Korean Free Trade Act. According to Economic Policy Institute estimates this bill could cost our nation an additional 156,000 jobs and increase our trade deficit by 16.3 billion dollars. Obama claims it will create 70,000 jobs, but these will be low paying insourced jobs not even equaling half the number of high paying jobs lost. Obama is a dedicated neoliberal globalist, make no mistake about it. Remember too that his jobs bill will cut the social security tax down to 3.1%, half what it has been . A clandestine way to drain social security, as a means to eventually privatize it so Wall Street can lay its hands on it. Why Veterans Today is starting to give Obama its imprimatur is a curious development at best. How anyone with an ounce of self-respect and common sense could support Obama at this point is beyond mortal comprehension.

I want to thank you for an excellent piece.
It begs the question, what kind of society do we really have, where “people” like this climb into places of power?
Thanks for helping to lift the veil.

October 7, 2011 – 11:26 pm
What kind of society, mike?

An inattentive “pass the buck” society: “Let somebody else take care of it….”
A disinterested society: “Politics is boring…”
A distracted and diverted society: “what channel is the game on?…has anyone seen the remote?”
A dumbed down society: “I voted for x cause he seems to know what he’s talking about…” (yeah he knows, do you?)

and most egregiously a voluntarily conceptually-limited society: “You shouldn’t talk about such things, its not polite/socially acceptable….someone might get offended”…

Perhaps these all-too-common quotes are familiar to you?

When the people of this nation exchanged titillation for direct, continuous participation in the political process the scoundrels seized their opportunity and molded it to suit their self interests.

Open Letter to Israeli Supreme Court Justices RE: Ongoing Injustices against Mordechai Vanunu
    by Eileen Fleming

Today, the Israeli High Court of Justice rejected Mordechai Vanunu’s petition to cancel the injunction forbidding him from leaving Israel. I responded via the postal service and the World Wide Web:

TO: Justices Eliezer Rivlin, Elyakim Rubinstein and Hanan Metzer

    The Supreme Court

    Jerusalem, Israel

    October 6, 2011

Dear Justices Eliezer Rivlin, Elyakim Rubinstein and Hanan Metzer,

Before this letter reaches you, this information will have been published first and disseminated from my website .

I write you because Israel continues to claim “that Vanunu is still considered a real danger to the security of Israel, as he holds state secrets that have not been published, which he said in the past he would reveal as soon as the opportunity presented itself.” [1]

I write you because in your decision that continues to deny the “petitioner” Mordechai Vanunu his right to leave Israel you wrote: “The court cannot be blindfolded and ignore what is happening in front of its eyes. The petitioner chose a unique path…in fighting against Israel’s policies”. [Ibid]

The prosecution charged that Vanunu should not be allowed the right to leave Israel for he posed “a real danger to the security of Israel” and the Judges stressed Vanunu had contacts with unspecified “foreign elements.” [Ibid]

I write you to inform you that I was not a reporter when I met Vanunu in 2005, but I became one when we began a series of interviews that culminated in the enclosed book, BEYOND NUCLEAR: Mordechai Vanunu’s FREEDOM of SPEECH Trial and My Life as a Muckraker: 2005-2010

I want you to know that Vanunu “fired” me as a friend and supporter on Face Book as well as in real life within three days of its publication but as an act of conscience I have –and will-continue to report on the ongoing saga of Vanunu until he is free to leave Israel.

I want you to know that ever since Vanunu quit talking to me, I have garnered all my information about him from his You Tube Channel vanunuvmjc for Vanunu has become his own Media:

Vanunu Mordechai Freedom of Speech, about all world Media, May 23-2010.

Israel’s State Prosecutor continues to claim concern that Israel’s state security would be undermined if the draconian restrictions imposed upon Vanunu were lifted, but in 2004 it was already reported:

“At the time of his release Vanunu was banned from talking to the media, mixing with foreigners and leaving the country for at least one year. Later the government relented and allowed him to speak to foreigners and the media, but not about his work at the Dimona nuclear plant. Israel claims he still holds some of its nuclear secrets. Vanunu, however, said that he had ‘no more secrets’ to reveal.” [2]

Also in 2004, Yossi Melman wrote for Haaretz:

“This is the secret that hasn’t yet been told in the affair: the story of the security fiasco that made it possible for Vanunu to do what he did, and the story of the subsequent attempts at cover-up, whitewashing and protection of senior figures in the defense establishment, who were bent on divesting themselves of responsibility for the failure. The 18-year prison term to which Vanunu was sentenced is almost exactly the same period as that in which Yehiel Horev has served as chief of internal security in the defense establishment [who has been] involved in the affair as deputy chief of security at the Defense Ministry, and also after Vanunu’s abduction and arrest, as a member of an investigative commission.

“Shortly after taking office as chief of security at the Defense Ministry, Horev began to take punitive measures to hobble Vanunu. He is responsible for the harsh conditions in which Vanunu was held, which included years in solitary confinement, and the sharp limitations on the number of visitors he could have…[and has fought] a rearguard battle to prevent Vanunu from leaving Israel and to place him under supervision and restrictions that will be tantamount to house arrest. Horev has always been considered the strictest of all the security chiefs in Israel, especially in regard to the protection of institutions such as the Dimona facility and the Biological Institute. He is apprehensive that if Vanunu goes abroad, he will continue to be a nuisance by stimulating the public debate over Israel’s nuclear policy and the nuclear weapons he says Israel possesses…all the hyperactivity being displayed by Horev and those who support his approach is intended only to divert attention from what has not yet been revealed: the security blunders and their cover-ups.”

Vanunu told me, “All the secrets I had were published in 1989 in an important book, by [Nuclear Physicist] Frank Barnaby, “The Invisible Bomb: Nuclear Arms Race in the Middle East.”

Barnaby testified, “I found Vanunu very straightforward about his motives for violating Israel’s secrecy laws he explained to me that he believed that both the Israeli and the world public had the right to know about the information he passed on. He seemed to me to be acting ideologically.

“Israel’s political leaders have, he said, consistently lied about Israel’s nuclear-weapons programme and he found this unacceptable in a democracy. The knowledge that Vanunu had about Israel’s nuclear weapons, about the operations at Dimona, and about security at Dimona could not be of any use to anyone today. He left Dimona in October 1985.” [3 ]

    In 2006, Yossi Melman wrote:

“Vanunu was one of the very few prisoners in Israeli history whose sentence was not reduced for good behavior, nor was he given a single day’s furlough. For many years, he was imprisoned in solitary confinement, which nearly drove him insane. Two years ago, he was released and asked to leave Israel. That’s when the vengeful machinery of the defense establishment – Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, the Shin Bet, and Yehiel Horev, head of security for the defense establishment – went into action. They imposed a series of limitations on Vanunu, restricting his freedom of movement and his right to social contacts. The worst of these restrictions is the ban on him leaving Israel…Morally and legally, and from a democratic perspective, it is intolerable that someone who has been punished should be punished over and over again for the same sin for which he served such a heavy sentence…the man’s ongoing harassment…is entirely motivated by the defense establishment’s hunger for vengeance over the way he outwitted it.” [4]

The restrictions that have subjected Vanunu to 24/7 surveillance [his movements, phone calls and emails] ever since 21 April 2004 come from the Emergency Defense Regulations, which were implemented by Britain against Palestinians and Jews after World War II.

Attorney Yaccov Shapiro, who later became Israel’s Minister Of Justice, described the Emergency Defense Regulations as “unparalleled in any civilized country: there were no such laws in Nazi Germany.”

Israel also kidnapped Vanunu in 1986, but Article 9 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights states: “No one shall he subjected to arbitrary arrest or detention”, including abduction of a person by agents of one state to another state.

In 1987, Vanunu was convicted of “Aggravated Espionage, High Treason and Assisting the Enemy.”

In May 2011, he petitioned the court to honor its own law and revoke his citizenship:

    Vanunu Mordechai asking ,CANCEL,Revoking my Citizenship-MAY 5-2011.

The establishment of Israel’s statehood was contingent upon upholding the UN UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS and as a Member State; America is responsible to hold ALL other Member States accountable:

Article 13.2: Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

Article 14.1: Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.

Article 19: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

I have petitioned my government on this topic many times via email, fax and phone calls, but neither President Obama or Secretary of State Clinton have responded in support of human rights; and thus this document also serves as a public petition demanding justice in the spirit of an old widowed crone who lived in a certain town with a judge who cared nothing about justice, people or God.

But that old widowed crone persisted to publicly plea as she knocked on the Judges chamber door, “Grant me justice” -but we do not know justice for what was she asking for.

The judge ignored her until she became such a PIA [pain in the ass] he finally muttered to himself, “Even though I don’t fear God or care a hoot about this old crone, she has become such a PIA, I will give into her, just to get her to leave me alone!” [Paraphrased from a story Jesus told in Luke 18 1-5]

The longer Israel denies Vanunu the right to leave the state and fade into the world, the larger his legend will grow; but a free Vanunu will reap Israel good PR and this reporters mission to tell the story of Vanunu until he is free will also be accomplished.

    Most persistently yours,

  3. Justice Denied – Last 9/11 Family Settles Out of Court

    Updated September 27, 2011

Thanks to the obstruction of justice and judicial hijacking of the 9/11 tort litigation by a Zionist judge named Alvin K. Hellerstein, there will be no trial to find the truth of what really happened on 9/11 or to determine who is responsible for the airport security lapses that led to the loss of 3,000 lives. While I certainly get no satisfaction from this travesty of justice, this is exactly the outcome I had predicted, which indicates that my analysis of the false-flag terrorism of 9/11 is accurate:

When all is said and done it will probably not be the Zionist judge who is removed from the process, but the suffering plaintiffs, the Israeli defendants and all the incriminating evidence, because in the end there will probably never be a trial to find those responsible for the crime of the century, at least not as long as Judge Hellerstein is making the decisions.
    – Christopher Bollyn, “Elbit – The Hellerstein Connection to 9-11”, 3 August 2009

He [U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein] essentially gutted the case so that the truth about what led to the events of Sept. 11, 2001, would never be told at trial.
    – Bavis Family letter, 21 September 2011

If the Israeli agent Hellerstein is able to obstruct justice by blocking a trial he will succeed in closing the book on the sordid Zionist saga of 9/11 without a single case going to trial. If that were to happen, it would be a huge travesty of justice and we would all lose – and the real terrorists of 9/11 would win.
    – Christopher Bollyn, “9/11 Litigation Update: Justice Denied – One Case Left”, 11 August 2010

DO WE LOOK GUILTY? Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and wife Sara visit the Israeli-designed 9/11 memorial in New York City with Mayor Bloomberg on 23 September 2011. On 9/11, Netanyahu told the New York Times that the terror attacks that were then thought to have killed tens of thousands were “VERY GOOD” for U.S.-Israeli relations. His Likudnik partner in crime, Ehud Olmert, then mayor of Jerusalem, was actually in New York City on a visit on 9/11, a visit which has been kept secret for 10 years by mayors Bloomberg and Giuliani. Why has Olmert’s visit been kept secret if he was not involved in the crime? Remember, there is no statute of limitations on murder.

Michael Arad, the designer of the memorial, is the son of Israeli Ambassador Moshe Arad (photo), a director of Elbit and a close friend of the Netanyahu family. Elbit Systems (of Israel) entered the U.S. market in the early 1990s when it created a wholly-owned subsidiary, EFW or Elbit Systems of America (formerly General Dynamics electronics production facility in Fort Worth, Texas). Elbit sells a system known as its Advanced C4I Solutions, which enables command and control functions over highly complex training scenarios, including thousands of participating entities (both virtual and real). Elbit sold more than $560 million worth of its systems to the U.S. military in the decade 2000-2009. These are the systems used by the U.S. Air Force and NORAD that failed on 9/11.

It was murder. We will never get over it. We are fighting for the truth… I hope there are people out there who want the truth.
    – Mary Bavis, mother of 9/11 victim Mark Bavis, to Christopher Bollyn

This bastard judicial system is so corrupt.
    – 9/11 widow Ellen Mariani

The last 9/11 family has given up their hope of obtaining the truth about 9/11 through litigation. The family of Mark Bavis has been forced to settle out of court, saying in a public letter dated September 21, 2011 (copied below) that the Zionist U.S. Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein had “essentially gutted” their case:

With the stroke of his pen, Judge Hellerstein very cleverly changed this lawsuit. The lawsuit was about wrongful death, gross negligence and a complete lack of appreciation for the value of human life. He instead made it a case about a federal regulation. He ignored 100 years of aviation law and relied on an environmental case to apply federal preemption. He essentially gutted the case so that the truth about what led to the events of Sept. 11, 2001, would never be told at trial.

U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein played a key role in the 9/11 cover-up by blocking legal discovery and preventing a trial from occurring. His mission, as a Zionist agent, was to manage the judicial cover-up of 9/11 in order to protect the real culprits.

Alvin K. Hellerstein is the corrupt Zionist judge who single-handedly managed the legal process in which the 9/11 relatives were denied justice through the courts. As a Zionist agent, Hellerstein obstructed justice for the 9/11 victims by blocking a trial from occurring. Under Judge Hellerstein the 9/11 tort litigation process has been an appalling travesty of justice. The judge’s son Joseph is an Israeli settler/lawyer who works with the law firm that represents the parent company of ICTS – the key Israeli defendant in the 9/11 tort litigation. Although this presented a clear and serious conflict of interest for Hellerstein, the lawyers and the Zionist-controlled media ignored it as the 9/11 relatives fell away in a judicial war of attrition.

This means that the last 9/11 wrongful death case has been settled out of court and that there will be NO trial to determine who is responsible for the death of some 3,000 people on 9/11. This is to say that the real terrorists behind the false-flag terror attacks of 9/11 have gotten away with murder – mass murder.

Here is the brief Associated Press report about this outrageous travesty of justice:

Boston (AP) — The family fighting the last remaining wrongful death lawsuit against the airlines from the Sept. 11 attacks says it settled because the judge “essentially gutted” their case.

Mark Bavis was a hockey scout for the Los Angeles Kings who was on his way to training camp on United Flight 175 when it was hijacked and flown into the south tower of the World Trade Center.

The family has said it wanted to use the lawsuit to expose the airlines’ security failures and force them to take responsibility for their role in the attacks. But in a public letter issued on Wednesday, the Bavises say decisions by U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein guaranteed that “the truth about what led to the events of Sept. 11, 2001, would never be told at trial.”

The following is a public letter from the Bavis family dated 21 September 2011:

After ten long years, our family has had a change in position regarding the litigation on behalf of our son and brother, Mark. Mark was a passenger aboard United Airlines Flight 175 when it crashed into the World Trade Center. This change is the result of a recent ruling by the Honorable Judge Alvin Hellerstein.

To the families of the 9/11 victims: We can honestly say that our family envisioned a day when you could hear all the evidence, evidence that would provide an important step in moving beyond the events of that day. This process has taken a toll on us that only you could understand. We fought this long for two reasons, because we valued Mark’s life in the time spent together, the shared experiences and the expectation of what life would continue to be. Secondly, the truth as to why this happened so easily should be important. Mark did not have to endure the tragedy that ended his life and neither did your loved ones.

Due to our family’s refusal to settle before this time, our attorneys at Motley Rice LLC have been able to conduct the most comprehensive investigation to date regarding how the airlines and airport security companies failed so miserably on 9/11 and in the days, weeks and months leading up to 9/11. Motley Rice’s attorneys have recovered ten times more information than the 9/11 Commission in regards to the failure of the aviation industry.

Why? Because we, and other 9/11 families, wanted answers. We want that information to be available to whoever cares to read it. It is important to us that some change comes out of the information held in those briefs. The system is clearly broken when an industry like aviation has enough power to keep a federal agency such as the FAA from implementing more stringent security measures, especially during a heightened terrorism threat level. The tail is wagging the dog, and someone in Washington needs to stand up and start holding people accountable.

It is not out of the question that our country could endure a similar event in the future. Such a tragedy, however, should never again be the result of lack of oversight or preparation or because lobbyists have so much influence and power in Washington, D.C., that American lives are at risk. Our government’s job is to protect the people—from foreign armies, terrorists and even our own American corporations. It is time that our elected officials take responsibility for the authority we have given them.

All of the events of September 11, 2001, are open to opinion and discussion, but we believe the easiest way to have prevented the kind of horror and tragedy of 9/11 would have been to have an airline industry that made a reasonable effort to provide security for its passengers. The evidence shows that they most certainly did not.

Lastly, we are thankful to have had a law firm like Motley Rice that was willing to stand by us and fight for the truth. Without them, we would have never learned so much about why this happened. In particular, we want to thank Don Migliori, Mary Schiavo and their entire team.
