OIC denounces interference in Iran’s internal affairs

TEHRAN – Participants to the OIC parliamentary union meeting in Algiers released a statement on Tuesday condemning the interference of foreign states in Iran’s internal matters.

“The Organization of Islamic Conference welcomes the results of the recent election in Iran and condemns the interference of foreigners in the country’s internal affairs,” said the statement which was broadcast by the Algerian state TV.

The statement called on the Iranian nation to unite against the enemies.
It also expressed concerns over the unjustified pressure on Iran for its peaceful nuclear activities while ignoring the threats by Israel’s nuclear arsenal.
The executive committee of OIC parliamentary union held their 21st meeting in the Algerian capital. Iran’s parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani participated in the conference
